I needed a small vac and mini tools to keep my sewing machines and computer keyboard cleaned out. This 1.5 gallon Shop Vac was the smallest I found with the best reviews. I saw in the reviews that one person opted not to use the disposable vac bags. Another reviewer stated you needed the Reusable Dry Disc Filter (which is not included with the vac). As this was not mentioned in the Product Description at Amazon, I emailed another dealer regarding the use of the Dry Disc Filter who said I did not need it. I received the vac and in glancing through the instructions, they said you need the resuable dry dic filter when picking up dust and dry material. I called the manufacturer this date who advised that yes, you DO need the Reusable Dry Disc Filter IF you are not using the disposable filter bag (one comes with the vac). That is good as there is not much room in the vac for the bag to expand. I plan to order the Reusable Dry Disc Filters and forego the vac bag for my use. It would have been nice for the manufacturer to have included one of the dry disc filters and better instructions.
