I love the fact that this Seychelle product works so well at keeping the tap water alkalized. However, something that I found in checking the ph on a regular basis was this. If you fill the water to the point that the filter is sitting in the water then the ph drops quickly to be the same as the tap water. I keep the water below the filter and it works great long term. So, learn how much water you can pour in that won't rise to cover any of the filter. Wish Seychelle would let us know this before we start using it. I ruined my first filter because I didn't know this. Used as I mentioned, then it does a great job.
