Different but inspiring
I don't know why I bought this book as it isn't something I'd usually go for. It is different but I really did enjoy it. I found it to be motivating and inspiring with Christianity and motherhood thrown in. I didn't find either themes make the book any less for me as I consider myself more spiritual and I'm not a mom. Rachel writes as I imagine her to speak and that's what I really enjoyed about the book. It felt like a chat to me. I could relate to some of the lies that forms the theme for each chapter. She speaks about being a woman, mom and person; to sometimes the trash we tell ourselves and believe. A great example of this is not keeping promises to ourselves. That was a chapter that hit home for me big time! If you're looking for a pick me up, this might be something you want to try.
