I have had cancer, so am very careful about which products I use on my skin. I like that this moisturizer contains only natural ingredients and doesn’t contain artificial preservatives. It does not break out my acne-prone skin. It is a bit light to use at night during the heating season, but I use it during the day, and in the hotter months I think it will be fine to use day and night. I mistakenly ordered the scented version (anise and ylang ylang) rather than the unscented (which I will order in the future). However, although I tend to be sensitive to scents, I find that this one dissipates very quickly. Three reasons I took one star off have to do with the packaging: 1) The expiration date does not appear on the bottle or the box it came in. It does appear on the plastic bag it was sent in from Amazon (and was very reasonable…~9 months out, despite the fact that it doesn’t contain preservatives). It would be helpful to have the expiration date clearly marked on the bottle containing the product. 2) There is no way of knowing how much product is left, as it comes in a container that is both opaque and not able to be opened. 3) The bottle it comes in is made from #7 plastic…#7 is considered “other” plastic, and may contain BPA and other undesirable things. It’s also not easily recyclable. I don’t understand why such a health-conscious product would be packaged in a #7 container.
