I'm very pleased with the Agri-Fab lawn sweeper. I purchased it mainly to try and pick up acorns in my yard, and it works quite well in picking them up. The reviews on here are pretty mixed, but I think It does a good job with acorns and twigs, and a very good job with leaves. It takes a few repeated passes over multiple days, but I'd estimate it gets about 80% of the acorns in my yard, which is a great improvement over raking the darn things. As for emptying, I find it easier to scoop the acorns out of the bag with a large dustpan rather than releasing the bag from the sweeper, as a sweeperful of acorns is pretty heavy! I have attached a video so you can judge for yourself about the acorn pickup. It does a nice job with leaves too, although the bag fills up rather quickly. I find having a tarp on hand to dump the leaves on the most efficient way to clear a yard full of leaves. Using a lawn sweeper is much easier than raking provided you have the sweeper height set correctly. The other reviews that say the item is difficult to push and/or ineffective do not have the sweeper height set correctly (or have a very uneven yard), as this thing will pick up most everything it passes over on level ground. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase, but wonder if the $54 Earthwise Sweep It on Amazon would work just as well.
