First of all, I'm about to buy another set of these panties. I wear an 18W in jeans, and I bought 2XL panties and they fit well. The are comfortable, and the wide waistband is a godsend. I'm outside in the yard a lot because I have 16 ducks. I'm bending over all the time, carrying 5 gallon buckets of water, cleaning their pools, toting 50-lb bags of feed and straw - the last thing I need is to have my underwear give me a wedgie or have the waistband roll down. When I'm muddy and sweaty and basically gross, the last thing I want to do is try to adjust my underpants. And these are so cute. I'm a large, strong woman, and people seems to think that large women don't like cute things. I like cute things. I like to work hard. I like to be outside, and I like not having granny panties. I'm smiling.
