I am very impressed with this little book. I bought it for my first Bullet Journal and love the color. Turquoise is my favorite color and it is so pretty. The leather is very soft to touch, I like that it has an elastic band, a silky ribbon and a pocket in the back. The first page was dirty and smeared with something but all the other pages were fine. I was able to draw over it and have had no other issues. It was a minor blemish not worth the hassle or a return. It did not come with the tan logo just in a little plastic bag. The dot grid is very helpful in making layouts and keeping my art symmetrical. Faber Castel pens work great on this and so do gel pens. I also use Crayola Super Tips but they bleed through so I have to be careful. Funny enough Crayola metallic markers do not bleed through so I use them for headers. But mostly I use Prismacolor pencils which are safe and won't bleed through the pages. I wish I could use my markers more though. I may resort to making my own stickers if I want that cartoon look. Pages are not numbered but that's not a big deal. If you're already drawing calendars over and over it's not hard to add pages if needed. I have not bothered with an index so no problems there. I think for the price you get a very nice quality book. I hope they will make other nice bright colors like lime green, light purple and bright pink. If I get a second one I may get the orange one. I am having a blast writing and drawing in it everyday. I don't know how it would hold up to watercolors. I'll have to try it at some point.
