My take on the device is that it will smooth out the electric use on the line its installed on. Look in your fuse box and you'll see many different fuses, each going to different lights and plugins throughout your house. If device is installed on a line that has nothing plugged into I suspect that there will be little or no results, but when its plugged into a line that has several active electric devices plugged into the outlets, then I can see where the results will be positive. The more draw on a line with this installed, the greater the chance there will be savings. So if you check which lines you have the most active devices plugged into and install one of these on each of the lines you should see savings on your electric bill.
