It is easy to swallow and doesn't noticeably change the taste of my morning drink.
I liked the absence of a noticeable taste or odor added to my beverage. It is much less objectionable than another pill would be.
I have been taking Vitamin D3 pills, by a doctor's recommendation, because I have chronically low Vitamin D levels in spite of getting adequate sun exposure -- some medical conditions can lower available Vitamin D levels. My last blood test showed available Vitamin D levels back in the accepted normal range.
The only real problem, so far, with this product, is that the dropper will drip occasionally on the way between the bottle and my beverage.
I didn't answer the "Absorbency" question, because I have no objective way to know what the absorbency rate really is. I suspect that it is reasonably good since the product appears to have a light oil base and Vitamin D requires lipids to be absorbed correctly. To be fair, I mix the product into a drink that contains lipids anyway.
