Best bang for the buck
These are really good headphones for the price, and easily worth more. This set had been sitting in my wishlist for a while and then Amazon notified me they were on a lightning sale for $28 so I finally grabbed them. I normally use Bluetooth and have spent some good money on Bluetooth headphones over the years, chasing the best audio I can get without a cable. I have a set of Sony MDR950BT headphones that also have 3.5mm input, but I rarely used it because I didn't notice much difference. This was due to two factors: 1: The Sony Bluetooth headphones support quality codecs to maximize the experience, and 2: I only listen to streaming music from Amazon Music. Streaming music services rarely exceed the quality of sound deliverable over Bluetooth. When Amazon Music HD came out, I immediately noticed a significant difference in my listening experience with the Sony headphones connected to 3.5mm vs Bluetooth (even though the Bluetooth experience also increased). Unfortunately, shortly after Amazon Music HD came out, I also broke my Sony headphones, which resulted in me doing a LOT of shopping for new headphones. Since I have a generous budget (the Sony's lasted me 3 years), I am still shopping. I needed something in the meantime though. Enter OneOdio. After reading a lot of reviews about OneOdio, I decided I had to try one of their products. I wasn't sure how much to spend though. When this set went on sale, that question was answered for me. To my delight, these well-below-$50 headphones sound almost identical to my Sony headphones with the 3.5mm connection. I have listened to a variety of music on these and it all sounds great! I will probably keep these for a while, as I do some more shopping, and may end up just going further up the OneOdio product line. If you are someone who just wants the best bang for the buck, these would be a wise purchase. These headphones also have all-day comfort and seem pretty durable. They are fairly light-weight but still a solid feel. There are two input jacks for different size cables. To my surprise I can actually have both connected at the same time. This means I can have one cable connected to my phone for music and the other cable connected to my work computer to listed for notifications and meeting audio. I suppose, if I really wanted to, I could even listen to music from my phone quietly while listening to meeting audio since the headphones just play both sources together.
