Stylish, simple, rust-free and customizable!
I've been looking for a dish rack that: (A) won't rust, (B) has a drain spout (C) to hold my cutting boards. This one meets all of my requirements as it holds both of my cutting boards and I love the fact that you can customize it. You can fold down the plate rack to have more space and remove the 2 utensil holders (which have fine slots on the bottom to drain water). I'm glad to be free of my old rusty rubbermaid dish rack and hated the fact that the rust would rub off onto my dishes. I generally like to use my dishwasher to store dishes, so this is an added bonus and it holds my cutting boards. It's perfect for a household of 2 and I like the fact that I can fold it up (the two sides with the tines fold into the main compartment) for storing under my sink. I also love the fact that one side has foldable legs to tilt the tray for better drainage. I still folded a hand towel to prop it even higher with the legs in use. I would give it a 5, but I'm being knit-picky with the drainage. Some water does remain because the hole is sort of small and in the center of the long side of the rack (so water does accumulate along that side and can't drain optimally because there is nothing diverting the residual water), but I don't regret my purchase because it's stylish and functional enough. After I wash my dishes, I just jiggle my rack around to divert the water into the drain hole, but that's me being anal. If I were to upgrade the design, I would redesign the side with drain to better divert the water.
