When Cafe du Chateau approached me about testing their Cold Brew Coffee Maker, I was game. After all, I love my coffee, I'm a fan of cold brew all year round, and I am a bit of an equipment maven. Turns out, this rig is great. It looks like a french press, but it's got a reusable, metal mesh filter down the center to hold the grounds while the cold brew steeps overnight. Makes a great, clean, strong batch of cold brew, so I highly recommend it. My only constructive criticism: I wish it were larger. Since making cold brew takes patience and anticipation builds, it would be even better if it turned out more of the good stuff. Besides, the 32oz space in the carafe is a bit misleading, as it includes the space taken up by the mesh filter basket. OK, gotta go. Time to pour myself another cup! :)
