I am a long time Harley Davidson owner and appreciate the rugged yet simple qualities of this well made mini bike. After looking at mini bikes made by other manufacturers I chose this one for my grandchildren to learn to ride because I feel its design and construction is the best on the market. The frame is stronger than other bikes, past or present, and its well proven 2.5 hp Lifan engine will last for years if properly maintained. The hot muffler is well protected from accidental contact by a strong wire cage and the rear disc brake stops the bike with authority without being too sensitive or "grabby." A governor limits the bike to a top speed of about 25 mph yet the bike easily powers my 150 lb son around with ease. On-line YouTube videos by the manufacturer take you through every aspect of maintenance so that you can perform virtually every task necessary to keep the bike adjusted and running properly. The bike is easy to work on but if you are not mechanically inclined any lawn mower repair shop can fix this simple machine. I have almost nothing negative to say about this bike except that they have used a rear brake lever that is designed for a large adult hand. My grandchildren cannot reach the lever when their hand is properly holding the handlebar grip and neither can my wife. I even have to stretch to get my finger tips on the lever! I solved this by replacing the brake lever with a "short reach" hand brake lever through Amazon by Tektro. Most of the one star reviews appear to be by people who would be seriously challenged to start a lawnmower and if this is you then you may want to pass on this bike. For everyone else I have nothing but the highest praise. It is well designed, beautifully finished and flawlessly manufactured. I was expecting a little less than excellence and was blown away by the quality when I first examined the new bike with the experienced eye of a long time Harley owner.
