Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

1st, I only clicked 1 star because like me, you prob. check the worse ("honest") reviews 1st. I have differing opinions of this bags features than others in the Most Critical area. 1. WEIGHT - at 1.5# (pnds), this is a SUPERB bag, compression bag, zipper, hood 2. FILLING - the cotton filling keeps the inside of my bag at 78F in 38F weather (per my thermometer.) It is as warm as my $300 down bag weighing 2.1#, & it's 1/3 less in width/L/dia (by my ruler.) 3. SIZING - Look at the color purchased by the reviewer - It's true that if you DO NOT get the BLACK in R or L (which also connects to another bag,) it will be small for real men. But my BLACK was big enough for my 6', 220# manframe, & I was able to roll over & bunch it up like a bedsheet, for comfort. The benefit of the R/L BLACK bag is that you have a 30" square foot space (+ a 2nd zipper to vent your feet, or give egress to snakes.) 4. COMPR BAG - If you do not flatten the air out of ANY sleeping bag, it will be hard to fit in it's compr. bag; but if you lay on it 1st, then SLOWLY roll it foot end 1st, all the air will, by the natural laws, evacuate it's space. In addition, there is a doubled strap on the end of the compr. bag which gives a good hand-hold to remove it from the bag. 5. ZIPPER - My only complaint is the zipper is not double sided; but I'm claustrophobic, so I keep an arm outside my bag, anyway. Sorry to be sneaky, but I know that I don't always read ALL the critical reviews.
