I do not have "acne" as most of us know it, but all of my life I have had big, deep and dark black heads on my t-zone and the skin on my face expanding out from my nose. They have always been so dark and deeply embedded that I've never been able to get them out with pore strips, charcoal peels or salacylic acid washes. And they are so prominent they've looked like embarrassing black hairs on my face. I've been using a clarisonic for 4 years and it never put a dent in the problem. I heard that dermatologists recommend salicylic acid in a moisturizer instead of a cleanser that way the medicine sits on the skin and has more time to work. I was leery on this because moisturizers either make me an oil slick or make me peely. A medicated moisutrizer didn't sound goof but I figured I've spent my whole life thinking I know what's best and have been very wrong this whole time, so what did I have to lose. I wash my face twice a day and rub this moisturizer into my face and problem areas really well. It's been 4 days and let me tell you.... for the first time in my life I can see the light. All of my obvious blackheads are gone and what's left is rapidly disappearing, and I'm telling you I had a LOT. Hell, some have probably been hitching a ride on my face since 2008. Every day I look on the mirror, I am dramatically close to a completely clear complexion. I use this salicylic acid moisturizer after cleasing (1 pump), then I use neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair cream (in the jar) over that. And I was using the wrinkle repair retinol cream long before this one, so I know it was not doing anything for the blackheads. But with those two rpdocuts combined my face is perfectly moisturized and clean feeling without being dry or oily. Please give this a try if you suffered with embarrassing blackheads for too long, like me. You have nothing to lose and a clear complexion to gain.
