1. SIZING Ok, based on previous reviews, I was SUPER CONFUSED on what size I should purchase. My husband wears a size 8.5 and many reviews were conflicting, some saying to size up to a 9 and others saying to size down to an 8. Well, after literally reading every single review, I decided to size down and I was left disapointed when they arrived. IF YOU ARE A HALF SIZE, I RECOMMEND SIZING UP. As you can see in my attached picture, they barely fit. Because these are a "slipper" type of shoe to be worn mostly around the house, a hair too big would have been the better choice. My husband has to stick his foot ALL the way in as much and as tight as he can, so his heel isn't sticking out the end. 2. FIT Some reviewers were complaing about the front flopping or getting stuck, which is another reason I almost skipped this purchase. This has not happened to him at all. Initially, I thought maybe it was because we sized down, but that can't be the case because when I borrow them, they are definately too big for me, and it doesnt happen to me either. 3. COMFORT These are the most comfortable pair of slides I have ever encountered. After his current pair ripped, I decided to switch my husband to Adidas because we are now an anti-Nike home (but that's another story) and I could not believe the difference in comfort. Excuse the bad analogy, but the only way I can think to describe it, is like you're walking on marshmallows. Literally. They even have like a ball in the middle of the shoe for your foot arch, and it adds to the comfort in a unique way that you can't really explain. 4. STYLE I thought the black on black looked a little tacky and cheap, but I knew my husband preferred solid basic colors. (These were an xmas gift) So I went with it anyways, and when they arrived I was pleasantly suprised. They look way more sophisticated and good quality than they appear to be through a computer screen. If my husband needs to run a quick errand, he pairs them with a pair of black socks and he gets away with it easily. 5. OVERALL If you're buying these for only one person in the household, be prepared to guard them. Honestly, anytime we need to run outside, my kids and I all go straight for his slides and he is constantly having to ask us to "please take off his slides" lol. I have asked for a pair for my birthday, and my kids have both asked for some as well. (Which I checked and verified they do come in womens and kids) My son's exact words were, "How come my slides are all hard, but dads are so soft? I want some like dads. " Trust me, you will not regret this purchase!
