First of all I love this product. I just got done setting it up and I couldn't be happier. It allowed me to set up a charging station for my Dyson V7 with out having to put holes in my walls and allowed easy storage for all of my attachments as well! I took a second to read some of the reviews prior to purchasing. Many of the reviews stated that their's had missing hardware or that the hardware included was of poor quality. Technically these reviews weren't too far off the mark BUT I'm almost positive that if the instructions were more clear then there would be less complaints about the product. So the main culprit for the confusion lies in the instructions. There are screws lettered "D" and "F." You are given six "F" screws and four "D" screws. The instructions show to put eight "D" screws between the base and middle portion of the and two "F" screws to mount the Dyson wall mount to the top. The six "F" screws go along with the six washers while the four "D" screws do not use washers. TLDR; The correct way to install this stand is by using four "F" screws and four nuts at the base. The use the four smaller "D" screws WITHOUT nuts in the center connection the two metal brackets. Finally mount the Dyson wall mount portion to the top using the remaining two "F" screws and two nuts. **NOTE 1** I recommend using a better wrench (or socket/ pliers) than the one they supply. If you over tighten the nuts they will ROUND OUT so be careful and stop once you feel its snug enough or if it starts to round out on you. See photo 7 for clarification. It's not necessary but I may buy new nuts in the future I keep this mount longer than 2 years. **NOTE 2** Make sure to have the portion of the brackets with the recessed screw tops on the outside so that the screw can be hidden inside of the mount. See photo 2. **NOTE 3** Dyson V6 and V7 use the 2nd and 4th top mounting holes. Dyson V8 and V10 use the 1st and 3rd top mounting holes. See photo 4.
