Here’s the thing...
So yes, this is straight up poison and if stayed in the same room as it for an extended period of time, it would probably kill me.
But the gnats were completely depleting me of my will to live, so six of one, half a dozen of the other.
I’m a clean person. I don’t leave fruit or food out until it goes bad. I wipe down the kitchen counters every night. I don’t leave dishes in the sink.
AND YET...
...a swarm of these little a-holes ended up in my apartment (I’m almost positive they were coming from the empty unit downstairs).
Last weekend was miserable. After spending the morning swatting the air in front of me, I set upon a plan of annihilation. Apple cider vinegar. Fly paper. Electrified tennis racket.
I could hear them laughing at me.
So in desperation, I bought sticks of poison.
I got them late Sunday night and hung one near the front door. I avoided the area for a couple days (and if you have a keen sense of smell, you can absolutely smell it) and by Wednesday, I noticed maybe one or two gnats.
Today, I can proudly say I am Gnat Free.
So the question is simple: who do you want to win?
The gnats or a multinational pesticide brand?
That’s what I thought.
