I am a Professional Home and Personal Chef and I also teach cooking and knife skills. I take all of my kitchen items, tools, utensils, knives, serving items, other accessories, and food products very seriously. When I test and review culinary items, I am highly critical and meticulous in evaluating and rating them. My reviews are honest and unbiased. Good is good…bad is bad! This KICHOT Stand Mixer is an excellent low-cost alternative to expensive and very heavy machines like KitchenAid's classic but very expensive models. It has multiple functions and attachments that all work well. * The system includes everything you need for whipping, kneading, and mixing. * Lightweight design for easy lifting and smaller footprint for easy shelf or cabinet storage * Rubber suction anti-slip feet keep the mixer in place while operating * Planetary movement assures contact with all ingredients for effective use * Whisking, Kneading, and Mixing attachments included * 4.8qt mixing bowl is a well-sufficient capacity for home kitchens * Splash guard cover connects to the mixer, not the bowl as in others for far easier use without fuss. * Easy to clean components and most are dishwasher-safe * 10 speed settings and Pulse option. The connection of the attachments is proprietary, so you can't use accessories made for other mixers like KitchenAid, but for general mixing use, the included attachments are well sufficient. The operation is intuitive and easy. This is not the quietest mixer out there, but it does the job and does it well. A silicon spatula and egg separator are included in the box. This is a great low-cost option in comparison to much more expensive mixers for a home kitchen and family. It has a full, two-year warranty as well. All in all, I find this to be at the top of the low-priced stand mixers and it's a FIVE STAR rating from me for the class of mixers. I am happy to honestly and heartily recommend it for anything other than for a need for hard-core daily use, and when other functions like pasta-making or grinding accessories are a requirement.
