The kickstand you can use to stand the phone up at 90 degrees or at 45 degrees, both only in landscape mode. It will not stand up in portrait mode but that's fine for me. You can also use the kickstand as a place underneath which to rest your fingers when holding the phone upright. Strong case, lasted a long time, professional-appearing, with a functional kickstand.
