Just tried this baby out on the open ocean and could not be happier with my purchase. First of all, make sure you get the right size and going by child, female, or male is not enough to make the right decision even though I have seen similar products being sized that way. If your face from top of your nose to your chin is less than 4.75 inches long then get the Medium but if it's any longer than that get the Large. I am a woman but my face measured just under 5 inches so I got the Large and it fit perfectly. The mask itself is a huge upgrade from traditional mask and snorkel sets. You get a much wider and clearer view with this mask and having the snorkel built right in is just perfect. When I first put it on, breathing felt a bit awkward but after a few minutes, I got used to it and realized that I could breathe normally through my nose and/or my mouth without issue. The mask never fogged up at all. When you dive down under the water, the mask automatically suctions tightly around your face and the snorkel valve seals to prevent water from getting in. You obviously can't breathe underwater with it but it's cool to dive once in a while without having to empty water out of your snorkel when you come up. I had no water leakage at all except once whenI forgot to tighten the straps before dunking my head and even then it was only minimal. My biggest issue with the mask was not being able to touch my face, particularly my mouth. My lips were salty from the water but I had to wipe it away with my tongue but that is just a matter of getting used to. Also, when a wave would come over my head the mask would seal and I would freak out a bit that I couldn't breathe but it was only for a second and then back to normal so again that was just a matter of getting used to. Overall, the EasySnorkel indeed makes snorkeking much easier. I think it was worth every penny and love that mine came in pink.
