Let me preface this by saying I also have the 48 and 72 sets of brush markers from Ohuhu and thus can say with confidence as someone that also uses the likes of Copic Markers, Prismacolor, Winsor & Newton, etc. that Ohuhu's brush markers hold up incredibly well against the more expensive brands. In fact, they're a great beginner option because the brush tips are really nice quality for a fraction of the price. The main qualities Ohuhu has had against them all along (compared to other brands) have been 1. No refill inks or replacement nibs* (Made up for slightly but the brush nibs being dual-sided; you can pull the nib out and flip it over to get a fresh nib when the exposed side starts to wear out) 2. You can't purchase individual markers 3. Smaller color selection All of which are qualities that may be remedied over time. This skin tone set is an example of expanding the color selection, and it does an okay job at that. Five of the colors in this set (marked with an * on the swatch chart I've included a photo of) are duplicates from the 72 set, but the duplicate colors make sense as they do fit right in for a skin tone set. I thought the 48 and 72 sets did a fairly good job of include very warm mid-tone and slightly darker browns, but they had only one color (YR4 Salmon Pink) that could be used for paler skin tones, and I always thought it was still a bit too dark/pink for really pale skin. And those sets also didn't have any very dark browns or cooler/less warm browns. This skin tone set does add some very nice darker/cooler browns, which is very appreciated, and it also adds some oranges and yellows that will work well for different undertones to the skin, and a very nice blush kind of color (R26) as well. Unfortunately, there isn't really anything new here for really pale skin tones. If you're drawing someone with albinism or the pale complexion of a vampire, (or just someone pale that isn't sunburned) you're going to have to look else where for the necessary skin tones. That said, the markers themselves still work wonderfully and come a nice, sturdy canvas bag. And the included are still welcome additions to the Ohuhu Brush Marker family. So they get a 4-star rating from me for ticking all the boxes except the points I mentioned above. As the digital swatches can be misleading, I've included a scanned-in copy of the swatch chart I filled out myself, layering the markers up to 4 layers to show how dark each color can get, and using Ohuhu's own colorless blender (from my 72 set) across the top of each swatch to show how it reacts to the blender. The scan isn't 100% accurate to the swatches in person, but I'd say it's about 97% of the way there, much closer than the digital swatches provided by the company.
