This works great for cleaning my dogs. My 1 dog has extremely sensitive skin. To the point I can only bathe him 3 or 4 times a year. A lot of dog's skin problems are caused by over bathing. I had been using a homemade dog shampoo as it was the only one I had found with the least amount of side effects for him. But it never left him smelling great. I bought this because of all the reviews swooning over how great this made their dogs smell and how well it worked for their dogs with sensitive skin. It does have a strong scent when you smell the bottle. It literally smells like Jergen's original cherry almond scented lotion. I had high hopes but alas my dogs still smelled like wet dogs just a bit earthier. Still stunk up the whole house even though I dried them most of the way with a blow dryer. BUT my sensitive skin dog has had ZERO itching or redness. It cleaned him exceptionally well and left his fur so soft! It also rinses out beautifully which is something that has always been a struggle with our soft water. I will absolutely buy this again but don't believe the hype about the scent. I still had to light strong candles to cover up the wet dog smell. Overall I am extremely happy with the cleaning and skin soothing results!!
