This was one of my favorite games on Playstation 2 and this IS my favorite game in the entire Grand Theft Auto series. This runs pretty well on the 7 inch Kindle Fire HD. There are display setting for various resolutions and draw distance and texture effects. It does lag a bit with everything set to max so I turn a few things down, it still looks and plays fantastically. The biggest perk for me was being able to plug my Fire to my TV and play it like a console. I tried using my Nyko Playpad Pro, however I was only able to move my character around, nothing else. I went to Gamestop today and purchased the Red Samurai Android controller. It works great on the Kindle Fire and it works very nicely with Vice City. So far there are only two things I can't figure out how to do with the controller. You can't target an enemy without shooting at them. It's a minor thing but when you're trying to knock off stores it's a bit annoying. I also can't figure out how to make Tommy lean forward on motorcycles to make them go faster. Even when I used the touch controls I can't figure it out. (makes some of the Unique Jumps impossible). I'm sure it can be done, I'm just not sure how. This was a great game when it was first released and it still is today. The amount of fun you'll get for $4.99 is a steal.
