Full disclosure, I used a (sanding-based) 3M headlight restoration kit maybe 2 years prior to clean, clear, and seal the headlight lenses on my 2010 Prius. Masking, wet sanding, polishing, and waxing them took maybe 1.5 hours. My car admittedly is never garaged, but I was still disappointed when they started hazing over again after 5 or 6 months. The 3M synthetic wax didn't protect as well as I'd hoped. After dragging my feet until the lenses had gotten almost as bad as before, I decided to try this Chemical Guys product before sanding again. The promise of both cleaning and UV-protecting in one pass was alluring. The attached photos tell the tale. I spent -maybe- 30 minutes across both headlights. No masking; I just took my time along the edges, working in sections and really giving it some elbow grease with a microfiber cloth. Ended up covering each lens twice over, followed by a third overall coat rubbed out more gently, and a final buff with a clean cloth. If the UV protection is as good as the cleaning, I'll be ecstatic. And there's enough in the one small bottle to do it again at least 5 or 6 times over if it's necessary.
