I was not so sure about this Dremel when I bought it. I have used corded Dremel tools for over 40 years, and I have even gone so far as to change out the brushes for the motor on one or two of them. I was not sure if this battery operated one would be able to have the power of the corded ones. I was surprised that it could hold it's own with my corded one. In addition, because of the battery, I could take it places that I could not use my corded ones. I have not exhausted the battery so far, so can't tell how long it would last with continuous use, but for most of the tasks I need it for, it last long enough. I find myself reaching for the cordless one more and more, and using the corded ones less.
