AMAAAAZING season so far! To the person that said this season has sucked because they gave us closure for many of the characters???? UMMMM this show has grown, the actors have grown, and people have grown with it. Its been almost TEN YEARS of being in love with this show and the characters in it, SO EXCUSE ME YES I NEEDED CLOSURE. As I'm sure many other people did as well. Only seen the first 3 episodes so far but they have been frickin fantastic. They really went all out for this season. The writing, the shots, everything has been gorgeous. Heartbreakingly gorgeous. Good for you for being a fan of the books before it "went mainstream" LOL thats such a lil b thing to say btw...... You should probably just go back to reading the books then and leave the rest of us to enjoy this MASTERPIECE of show! UPDATE: I finished this season a while ago. I will say everything was still beautiful up until the very last scene and the actors did a fantastic job.... I was crying angry tears, not because the show moved me but because I wanted to KILL the writers. The ending, although possible with MUCH MUCH more character development was insanely rushed and just made no sense for the characters. I am devastated. I was seriously hoping they would go in a different direction because they were ending things rather quickly (show should have gone on for AT LEAST 2 more seasons) but alas they decided to go with the cheap “shock value” regardless if it actually made sense or not. They ruined the ending of one of the greatest shows of all time. I still want 5 stars because everything else in this season was done so well!!!!! I know the actors were devastated too but they did what they had to and they gave it their all. I’ll miss you GOT 💔.
