If I could give this more starts I would! I spent 3 hours reading reviews about this and I decided to take the leap. And I AM SO HAPPY I DID! I had an awful at home RED color job. Like bad bad. Like crying bad. But I didn't want to bleach it because I want my hair to be super healthy. The smell is bad, not as bad as everybody acts. But bad. It took me the whole bottle, I almost ran out. I have medium length thick, thick hair. When you apply it make sure it is saturated. That's where the best results come from. I let mine sit longer than the recommended 20 minutes. I did more like 45. Oops. ANYWAY. The water needs to be hot as hell. I rinsed for the 20 minutes and shampooed roughly 5 times. I used a deep deep conditioner afterward. RINSING IS KEY. I towel dried my hair and then blow dried a little bit. And BAM. Angels made love on this hair of mine. It's basically my natraul color. So thank you thank you thank you for this product.
