This review is for the stainless MI-EK001 which is listed as an updated version of the black MI-EK004 which I also have. While this kettle is very nice, I found I personally preferred the black model and so, returned this one. Both kettles work very well, are accurate, and look nice. MI-EK001 +Stainless steel finish is attractive and easy to clean (but gets hot) +Water level window +Preset temp buttons (touch sensitive) +Press start to boil -Keep warm function (30 min) cancels when the kettle is lifted -Beeps cannot be disabled MI-EK004 +Double wall construction stays cool (but black plastic shows more smudges and scuffs) +Temp can be selected from 100-200 in 5 degree increments, remembers previous setting when turned on +Press start to boil +Keep warm function (60 min) stays activated when the kettle is lifted +Display shows actual temp as it heats up (I really like this) +Beeps can be disabled -No visual water level indicator
