My 2011 MacBook Pro finally gave out. I decided it was finally time to upgrade both my MacBook Pro and iMac. I’m a photographer and use a lot of portable hard drives as well as card readers. These USB-C to USB adapters are especially necessary on the newer MacBook Pros as there are no USB ports. I debated for sometime whether to go with the Apple Brand or this package. It was only $10 for two units (this pack) versus almost $20 for one (Apple’s). I have absolutely no regrets. I can plug in my hard drive and card reader at the same time. I’ve been using the adapters daily for a couple of weeks with no issues. Obviously, with the help of this adapter these ports are so much faster than my 2011’s old USB ports.
