I’ll start out by saying: this product really, actually works and is a must for anyone with kitty behavioral problems. It’s not a gimmick. I’m not getting paid for this statement; it just REALLY works. We have 2 kitties. The first is a lazy, 95yr old man in a 1yr old male Balinese cat’s body. While the other is also only just 1yr old (Russian Blue/feral mix), she is an absolute lunatic of a banshee in her prime with the sole purpose of causing as much havoc as she possibly can. I’m talking regularly running head-start down a hallway and flailing her petite body into a closed door in order to let you know she wants inside that room. Or, acting out her very own karate movie alllllllllll niiiiiight looooong. Just a lot of basic deranged behavior that you’d have to witness to believe. Other negative behaviors she was displaying? -Spraying -Marking territories (as in vertically scratching walls, couches, cupboards, my legs, etc.) -Urinating on my husband while he was asleep because he so deeply offended her by not being ME (On 4 separate occasions) -Pooping behind couches because the voices in her head told her to? Idk...she just did -Did I mention spraying EVERYTHING? -Over-grooming -Constant fighting with our other cat -Continuous growling as she simply walked from one destination to the next -Growling during normal play time with her own favorite toys & loveys -Manically running up & down both flights of stairs and flinging her body against walls because YOLO To say I was losing my mind is an understatement. Enter Feliway. After doing a little research I found the miracle that is Feliway. Within a couple hours of me plugging it in, my demon...I mean, my CAT became a docile, kicked back normal feline - acting like she’s been chill all her life. Which is an outright lie; she’s not fooling me. But I’ll take the act over her previous constant mischievous tomfoolery. We HAVE to keep this Feliway refill on autoship. If the diffuser oil runs out, within a day my husband is asking why I didn’t remember to order the Feliway refill sooner. Because she almost immediately reverts back to her bizarre monkey business again - that quickly. I’m not joking. It’s like Dr. Jekyll & Ms. Hyde material. Secondly, I would like to point out that this link says you’re purchasing the Feliway Multicat KIT. It is NOT the kit. This is only the 1, single refill. If you don’t have the actual diffuser piece yet, you will need to buy the actual kit first. Also, the info states you need 1 diffuser per 700 SQ FT. I have only 1 in a 1500 SQ FT home and it’s plenty enough to keep like, 450 of her 500 inner demons at bay - just enough to keep life interesting. I’m including photos. The 1st photo (before Feliway) clearly shows her attempting to literally overthrow my other cat. The 2nd photo (Feliway in use) is her just chilling like a villain. Hope this helps.
