I'm a soccer player, naturally my feet receive a lot of abuse. My plantar fasciitis progressed quickly over a couple of months, especially on my right foot. It got to the point where I could barely walk let alone jog or run. I had tried another pair of sleeves but those were too tight. Doc suggested ibuprofen and that helped but I'd rather not stuff myself with pills over long periods of time. I came across these and decided to give them a try. The day these sleeves arrived I had to skip practice because I was limping all over campus and the pain was unbearable. As soon as I got home I put these on an after a couple of hours (I was still walking around doing stuff) the pain had subsided. I took them off to sleep as suggested by my doc. Woke up next morning and put them on again, hey I could walk fine and no pain! I decided to take another day off practice and rest. Third day of wearing them and I was in back in practice running and doing drills as usual. There's a limp every now and then and pain shoots for about a second before it goes away. So I'm pretty satisfied with these sleeves. I can't tell how good they are in the long run but at least they provide fast pain relief. And if you're not willing to spend a bunch of cash on physicians and stuff yourself with ibuprofen then these are a good choice. UPDATE! About a month later and I'm still using these sleeves. They work like a charm, no pain. However, they are starting to show some signs of wear especially the front part under the foot, got some threads coming loose. I'm not sure how long they will last me, keep in mind I am using them almost on a daily basis and while training and playing soccer.
