Great light, more white then warm
Our property has over 30 standard 20 watt Malibu garden lights and that really adds up wattage wise. We decided to give these LED garden lights a try as they are only 1 watt each. I bought just one set to start and they arrived promptly. They were very easy to install and the "box clip" system they attach to the low voltage wire is much more sturdy and professional then the "push-in" system we had with the Malibu lights.
I wrote this review more specifically to address the color temperature of the lights. I saw a lot of people asking where they fall in the spectrum with no answers. Being a professional photographer I can tell you that they are closer to daylight balanced then incandescent, I'm guessing somewhere around 52000k. So not as blue/white as 5600k, but not as warm as 3600k. If your a non techie reading this, it just means it's more of a white light then yellow. If you desire a very warm color light, you might have to go with a more traditional non LED bulb or choose a different brand. This is not to say the light is unpleasing, quite the opposite actually it's got a very nice quality to it, it's just not very warm.
Now to the output... It's pretty darn good for a 1watt light! The specs didn't say what the lumen output was, but it's very comparable to our 20 watt Malibu lights in terms of brightness and lights up the plants to my satisfaction. Overall I will be buying more of these to replace all my existing garden lights.
