Chiropractic Student in Clinical Rotations
This is a great product! This review is coming from a former massage therapist (of 12 years) and now, as a chiropractic student, currently in clinic rotations. As a student, having no disposable income, spending $450 for a hypervolt didn’t sound very appetizing. A couple of my friends have hypervolts, and I’ve been able to use them. I also have a couple friends who have other massage guns (MGs) that I’ve been able to check out and compare. I originally went onto Amazon to find a different MG and found this one. I liked what I saw, did a little research and took the plunge. Upon unboxing, I was pleasantly pleased with the quality and functionality of the Cholas product. Since, I’ve been able to carefully compare with other MGs, including the Hypervolt. I am so thankful I got the Cholas. I would without a doubt make the same choice. Below are some comparatives with the hypervolt and others. Noise: the Cholas is without a doubt the quietest tool I’ve seen, much quieter than the hypervolt. It is the number one thing people say when the turn it on. Punch depth: punch depth is adequate, although a good .25 inch less than that of the Hypervolt. Variability: the Cholas has 30 different speeds while others have up to 6, and the Hypervolt only has 3! Other: I really enjoy the slick look and feel of the Cholas. I especially like the touch controls. I have spent hours now using this tool and have only charged it 1-15 minute charge, and 1-longer charge. I am so far very pleased with the battery life. Cons/drawbacks: the only thing I would suggest they do is make the case with individual holes to place tool tips for better organization. As of now, it’s simply a tub area for tools. Quality: in my opinion, the only MG that beats this that I’ve seen so far is the hypervolt. BUT, I can buy 5 of these for the price of 1 hypervolt, and there’s just not enough of a difference between the two to justify buying the hypervolt. The Cholas, hands down, wins the battle for cost verse quality. As for durability, I’ve used this quite a bit already, and it’s held up very well so far. Time will tell, but I expect it will serve me well for a number of years.
