I've had this 2.5 months now. I wanted to wait to review until after a break-in period to make sure it would last. I'm a big guy. Like super size big. I'm 6' 2" (not super tall), and close to 400 pounds (that's BIG). I have arthritis in both of my hips. I have a desk job. My weight combined with arthritis means I need a very comfortable, supportive, cushioned seat or I'm dying. After a couple of hours, my hip joints feel like somebody has taken a white-hot pick and hammered it into my joints. I've had seat cushions in the past, and they do offer some comfort, but tend to (given my size) compress to paper thinness quickly. Although it's expensive, I decided to take a shot on the Ultimate Purple No-Pressure Seat Cushion. I am SO glad I did! It's like sitting on a cloud. The first time my rump rested on this cushion, I thought I'd ascended to heaven and was sitting on a purple throne of the Gods. I swear I heard angels singing. I've been abusing this thing for 8-12 hours every week day the past 2.5 months, and it's still like sitting on a cloud. If you're tempted by the promise, but scared off by the price, I can only speak for myself when I say it has been worth every penny. **Update 10/31/2019 This seat cushion is just amazing. I've been using it all day at work for the last 2.5 years and it is still like sitting on a cloud. Unfortunately my arthritis has progressed to the point that I am sometimes in a wheelchair, and this thing is a life saver there. I honestly could not sit in a chair for more than an hour or two without thing thing. With it, I'm good for the day. I've gotten so much more than my money's worth here!
