Works as expected. I wish I had one of these as a kid! Lights up and projects on the whole room when the dome is removed! There are so many different lights and combination of them to choose from. My son absolutely loves it! EDIT: had a problem with it no longer rotating and they got back to me within 2 hours of emailing them offering to send out a new one. Customer service 5/5
