Die Weeds Die HaHaHaaaaaa.....
Awesome herbicide, I have about 2 acres of perimeter boundary that is difficult to mow effectively & takes a full day to use a trimmer on so I use a herbicide to keep the weeds down. Originally I used the big R based on past performance & it works well at a HIGH cost. I started using this at the recommended concentration & the results were mixed, but, one day I noticed their application rate was 1/3 of the big R so I increased it to 5.5 oz per gallon a little less than R. It works amazingly well w/ wilting in 24 hours and about 95% kill in 7 days, the really tough weeds like Canadian thistle may need a second shot if it is not dead in 10 days, but I added a couple of drops dish washing detergent & it did the trick. The big WIN is the cost is 1/4 of the R brand even @ the elevated concentration. I use it w/ a hose end sprayer & it completes about 1000 running feet & a 20-40 patch in approximately 2 hours. It lasts for months. I use a battery powered sprayer for touch-ups in between for maybe another hours work over 4 months. The only caution is it does kill EVERYTHING so don't spray it on things you don't want killed. It is a contact herbicide so it doesn't poison the ground, if you want you can plant the area in 10-14 days, as this breaks down in the soil in that time. As a side benefit , by removing their habitat the insect population has dramatically been reduced w/o using a broad spectrum insecticide that kills the beneficial insects(bees) as well as mosquitoes, & the insects can't build up a tolerance to the loss of habitat so I don't have to spray ever increasing amounts & rotate insecticides.
