Lengthy Review
If you want the TL;DR (Cliff notes/summary) version of this post, scroll all the way to the bottom. Buckle up, because this is going to be an in-depth review comparing this watch (Color screen) vs. LETSCOM slim fitness tracker vs. the Apple Watch Series 3. And I will include a list of cons at the end, because no product is perfect. First and foremost, I received this product in order to give an honest review, but I wanted to give a comparison, so you can make the appropriate decision on buying this product. I’ll use three points to compare them: Battery life, Ease of use/setting up the product, and tracking workouts. I will start by comparing the Apple Watch (AW) first, Color Screen (CS) second, and Slim tracker (ST) third. Battery life: AW- I usually receive 1 1/2 days on a fully charged battery. Vs. CS- This bad boy usually last me for four days on a full charge. Vs. ST- It’s about the same as the CS. Ease of use/Setup: AW- The setup for the AW is probably the most frustrating part of the watch. I spent a solid 30-45 minutes getting everything setup and figuring out how to work the app that comes with the watch. Vs. CS- Honestly, this watch and the ST are the same on setup. They use the same app and are paired with your phone the same. I spent a total of five minutes getting everything setup (I have an IPhone 6). In my opinion, what makes this better than the ST is you have more space to access the programs on the watch, and it is more responsive than the ST. Vs. ST- Like I said above, the setup is the same as the CS. Tracking workouts: AW- Of course, the AW shines in this regard, because you have more options to select from, but it comes with a steep price. I spent a solid $300.00 on my watch and I am hoping that I never break it. I use a total of three apps on my AW and call people when my phone dies. Other than that, I wish I could go back and buy something like this. Because I only bought the AW for the “status” of it (lame, I know). Vs. CS- Just like the AW, the CS comes with an app that can track your weekly workouts, sleep schedule, and heart rate. If you are in the neighborhood for a watch that has a lot of functionality, a good app (that I can tell, so far), and does a good job of recording your workouts. Also, the heart rate monitor is really good. I always take my heart rate myself and compare it against the device itself. The CS was 3-4 heart beats off on any given day. Vs. ST- Yet again, tracking workouts are identical to the CS, but with a much smaller screen. The only other comparison I feel like I should make is the screen size. If you don’t need a large screen or if you are like my grandpa or mom, and want something simple, go with the ST. But the CS has the width of a penny and the ST is about half of that. Cons: - I wish the response time on the CS and ST watches were a little quicker. There are times when you click the screen and it takes a little while for the watch to respond. - On the AW, you are able to select different settings on the screen. But the CS and ST must be setup on the app. TL;DR: Overall, I am a simpleton, with the exception of owning an Apple Watch and I truly enjoy the Color Screen (The watch you are currently looking at) and the Slim Tracker watch. If you are in the neighborhood for something affordable, tracks your workouts, comes with a beefier screen, and comes with a working app, this product will meet your needs. Edit: I’m rating it five stars because you get a lot for thirty bucks. Compared to the Color Screens expensive counterparts. If anything happens to the watch, I’ll be sure to update everyone. *If you found my review helpful, please let Amazon know by clicking the helpful button below!
