Very pleasantly surprised!!
I am extremely shocked and surprised by this device. I have been using a cold laser in my practice for the last 5 - 6 years. I also had meniscus surgery on both knees last year and have been using my laser for pain relief. My laser died and the company I purchased it from went out of business. I was looking at purchasing another very expensive laser and ran across the Tendlite in my research. I was absolutely sure this device could never do as it was advertised. Knowing there was a 60 day return policy I ordered one with the intention of returning it when it didn't live up to description. I started out using the device on one knee to compare pain levels with my other knee. Within 3 treatments spread out over the first day I noticed pain relief. Placebo? Well, I continued to use it daily and to my surprise I continued to feel less pain, so no placebo effect. After 2 weeks of personal use, I have now started using it with a few of my patients and all have had positive comments. Is this as good as my laser, no, but it does work incredibly well and doesn't cost thousands of dollars. I wish Lumina made a device with more lights and with various wavelengths. I am considering ordering a second light for optimal tissue coverage. If you decide to order, go to the Tendlite website as the cost is $185 (free shipping) vs Amazon's $194.93.
