Great stuff.
I watch this lady on youtube that creates loads of beautiful items, and she uses a variety of glues or glosses, but this is her main go to. She uses her heater to get it to cure a little sooner, but it only takes 24 hours to fully cure! I haven't had any trouble with it overflowing, I usually use a paint brush (that won't lose bristles) or a wooden dowel, toothpick, or popsicle stick to smooth it around, as i don't want it flowing on its own. I also think you don't need a lot anyway.
The product has a nice hard shell on it once it has cured, and you can use the item within an hour if you have further decoration steps to do.
It is also waterproof and heat resistant once dried. I use it as one of my go-to's for a glass sealant, because of the curing factor. Curing takes only 24 hours, and one coat. You have the option of adding another coat after an hour, if you want to, but you don't have too.
And this is key when you are creating coasters and trivets that need to go out for orders... or for craft fair/events.
Unlike Mod Podge, which is a glue, sealant and finisher... but you have to use about 8 coats to get the true seal & finish, and then it can take up to EIGHT WEEKS to fully cure! Who has time for that??? Surely not I!! ;)
The other that I use is a two part resin, it takes 3 days to harden, and it is sightly thicker than triple thick, and you don't get much time to make sure it is all even once you mix and pour it over your work. I'll try to remember to update this when I remember the name of it. ;0
