This isn't a movie for your average audience. This is part historical documentation of Puritan witch hysteria and part supernatural mind f*** that creeps up on you and has you thinking for days. Think The Shining. Think The Blair Witch Project. You finish and you are like what the heck did I just watch? And you may even think it wasn't that scary. Until about 8 hours later when you have had time to fully process and you are creeped out beyond the telling of it. This is cerebral horror, folks. I LOVED this movie and can't wait to see that this director releases next. Wow. Just wow.
