As one of my eyes is virtually blind, toting a heavy pair of binoculars to the air shows I attend throughout the summer seemed a waste of time, so why not try a Monocular I thought.? As it might not be practical I didn't want to spend too much and at under $30.00 these caught my one good eye. Well, it arrived today and I'm very impressed, this would easily pass for costing twice as much. Both lenses have caps and it feels quite rugged and well made. I've tried it out and found it very easy to adjust and focus. Fitting it too my iPhone was easy (there are no instructions but the video on Amazon is easy too follow). So far no complaints, first airshow is next week, I'm quite excited. Just a couple of minor points, the tripod is a little flimsy but seems up to the job, the phone holder requires removing the protective case I have on the phone, I wish manufacturers would allow for the extra size, if I'm using my phone outside I would like it to be protected as much as possible, and removing and refitting the Otterbox is a pain. All the car phone holders I've ever had are the same though, a small point but there it is.
