This treadmill is super quiet and very easy to put together. All told, I think it took me about 30 minutes to put everything together. I am using this while I work as well as watch TV so that I'm not sitting idle all day. I've taken phone calls on it with no issue on either end. I have no problems hearing my music or my TV while I'm using it. Keep in mind that this is not a treadmill for serious runners. It does not have a high top speed, and it doesn't have a large platform. But if you're looking for something for walking or light jogging while keeping the noise down, this is what you need.
