Blown away. Yes, back in the day I was totally appalled by the author’s behavior (thinking back to the infamous CNN “Says who?” interview), so I’m not cutting him any slack for that or any of his prior behavior - and neither is he, by the way - he 'owns' it in this book. After non-stop reading of this book, because I found it nearly impossible to put down, it’s pretty clear that the author got caught up in a false loyalty, while being paid well for his unethical behavior. One may assume that getting raided by the Feds, having his back up against the wall and then going off to prison may have played a part in his finally coming clean about all the dirty deeds he’d been a part of, but that doesn’t make this book any less factual. It simply means he had a choice to either go away and never be heard from again or tell the American people what’s at stake when we vote this November. In my opinion, the truth is here and ready to be read, the reader gets to decide if they accept it as fact, which I do. I’d like to think this book is a redemption of sorts for the author. While it’s hard to call him a hero after his years of previous horrible decisions and behavior, I’m giving him some major kudos for having the guts to not only write but release this book setting the record straight, admitting his faults and basically coming clean about everything – and I do mean everything. Yes to this book, but reader beware: Once you start reading, you can’t stop. The proof is in the details and this book is filled with details – the good, the bad and the really, really ugly. Nothing is left to the imagination and this book is exactly as the author promised: A tell-all, THE tell-all.
