I've only had it for a few days, but am very happy and recommend it. I use it with a Breville Barista Touch and the 53mm tamper perfectly fits the 54mm portafilter. It has a really comfortable handle. Nice sturdy weight. Really nice feel when compressing. Very well made, high quality item. Very consistent pressure really helped eliminate a variable when brewing espresso and trying to dial-in flavor. They intentionally do not disclose the pressure it's calibrated at and reference that consistent pressure is more important than a specific pressure. That's fair enough and in my case the consistency did help me isolate the much easier (for me) to control grind and brew time to yield results I was happy with. That being said, there are a lot of coffee nerds out there that will tell you that specific tamping pressure does make a difference. It might be worth it for LuxHaus to consider offering tampers with specific pressures for people to play with.
