Let me just start off by saying if you are having trouble drinking through the straw or experience loud gurgling when doing so, your filter is not installed correctly. Make sure it is pressed firmly so the seal is closed. I made this mistake when I first got it and had a hell of time trying to get water. When I took it apart and made sure all seals were firmly in place, it worked like a charm. For everything else, it's sturdy and large water bottle. How can you go wrong?
