I love this Briefton's 5- Blade Spiralizer, it works great. It's Non-electric so its perfect for us who will soon be living full time in a camper:).I received this product about a week ago and I just recently tried and use it to make our first curly fries using this spiralizer, It is very fun to use, my 3 year old daughter was enjoying watching me cutting the potatoes and we love the result, the curly fries came out perfectly, its not too small or thin and its not too thick either. On my first attempt, I was struggling, I thought I was doing something wrong, then I figured out, you actually need to stick the vegetable or the potato in the circular blade located on top of the blade plate in order to lock or load the potato in place, then it has a vegetable holder which has approximately 21 spikes holds the vegetable tightly and in place while turning the crank clockwise, just make sure to give it a little push or to stick the vegetable firmly so locks them together, then when you start turning the crank you will see pieces coming out on the other side of the blade make sure to place a bowl or anything that will catch the pieces. This Spiralizer is very easy to assemble, you can put them together probably less than a minute. It is well-engineered and I like that the material used is made of durable plastic and ultra sharp stainless steel but make sure to do extra precautions in changing the blades because they are very very sharp but how you operate it is actually very safe . What I also love about this product is, its legs has suction cups that hold the thing in place, just make sure to place it on a flat surface. I was using it and after I cut the potato I tried to pick it up and I got scared that it got stuck, then I realized it was the suction cups that secure the thing in place which for me is very good in order to avoid any accidents and for easy operation as it allows you to just use enough amount of force in turning the crank and doesn't strain your hand. This came with 5 interchangeable stainless steel blades ( 1 Angel-hair blade, 1 Fine-Shredding Blade, 1 Crude-Shredding Blade, 1 Curly-Fry Blade and 1 Flat blade). It also has extra blade storage capable of storing 2 blades for easy access on changing blades. This thing is actually very easy to use and easy to clean, After I use this product I simply disassemble then place it over a running water then its all clean and done. If you are not getting the result that your supposed to have then you are not doing it right . I suggest that before you use this product make sure to carefully read the instructions provided along with the product. It's clearly written on the box and on the manual. I love how this product make cutting vegetables and fruits so easy and fun. This product was actually sent to me for product testing. I got this at a discounted price in exchanged for my fair and honest review. Everything written and expressed here is solely my opinion and own experience in using the product.
