This is my third air purifier I'll have in use and by far the smallest. According to them it'll clean the air in a room up to 12x13 but that could only be in high speed. I seriously doubt its effectiveness in low speed. You can only clean the air by pulling it through the filter and not much is going through in low speed. I think it would be a great desk top filter in a work environment since a hepa filter provides healthy air and it is quiet even in high speed. Also you can use it in a bedroom due to the low noise and the ability to adjust the light down. I think it's too small for any more open areas. Be advised they're trying to influence positive reviews with a free filter. The replacements are $20 a pop so that's another $80-$100 a year in filters. That's too much for the size of them. .
