ALL DOGS ARE DIFFERENT AND WILL REACT DIFFERENTLY. There are so many reviews where people say their dog doesn't react to it the way they hoped. I bought this to help with my dogs barking and separation anxiety. While I didn't see a change in that behavior, I DID SEE A CHANGE. She is very nervous around strangers and after having this collar on for awhile, she actually moved on to curiosity about strangers and even let some pet her without cowering. Adaptil is so worth it and very helpful, you just have to understand that every dog is different and they may improve in a way differently than the reason you bought it. After the collar wore off I went ahead and got the spray. I spray her blanket before I leave for work and I haven't come home to anything torn up since. You just have to find what works for your dog!!
