For those who are wondering what size to buy, I thought I'd share my experience. I am female, 5'6", a bit under 160lbs, 40" around the bust, 34" around ribs. I ordered the size M/L based on the supplied size chart. It is too big. I pulled all straps as tight as possible and still felt like I could almost pull the vest over my head. There was also more bulk under my arms than I expected. I then ordered the Onyx Outdoor Movevent Torsion Vest (which uses the same size chart) in XS/SM to compare and it fits much better. It includes a clip fastener at the bottom front of the vest that I am able to tighten around my ribs (using the lower side adjustments). This feels much more secure and comfortable. I haven't used either one paddling yet so can't comment on that but they were both fairly comfortable to wear around the house.
